Matt began working in real estate in 1989 and has been honored to serve families in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area for the past 35+ years.

He specializes in residential real estate, helping families buy and sell homes in Northern Virginia.

He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS ® and is a consistent recipient of the Top Producer Silver Award from the Realtor Association of Prince William (PWAR).

He lives in Prince William County with his wife, Dolly, and his dog, Phoebe, and enjoys rooting on the Nationals on game day!

Your Needs First. Period.

When I entered the real estate profession in 1989, I didn’t realize at the time that I wasn't just starting a career - I was beginning a lifelong journey of serving others.

I got into this business because I really enjoy working with and helping people.

But I quickly realized that many other agents around me were chasing the dollar – I didn’t like that.

I knew that if I focused on putting my clients' needs first, the money would come. And, more importantly, I’d actually be helping them.

This guiding principle has been the cornerstone of my real estate services for 35 years.

This is why I don’t require an exclusivity commitment from my clients. Some agents won’t work with you unless you commit to a 90-day (or more) period working with them exclusively.

They will make you feel like you HAVE to stay with them - when in reality, you don't.

That’s not how I do things. I believe that if you think I’m no longer serving your best interests, you should be free to walk away.

Another way to describe this is that I believe I need to earn and keep your trust.

Only then can I really meet your needs.

And that's why my motto is, "Thanks for your trust!"

Community Involvement

Participating in and taking care of those in our community is a great privilege. I try to identify ways that I can give back, such as helping coordinate a candy drive during Halloween for Operation Gratitude.

With the support of Susan Murphy's 3rd grade class at Round Elementary School in Manassas, we were able to collect candy for care packages that would be distributed to families of first responders, military service members, and caregivers.

For those who don't know, "Operation Gratitude provides opportunities for the American people to express their gratitude and show our Military and first responders that what they do matters. Since 2003, with the help of our nationwide network of Volunteers, we have sent a total of 4 million Care Packages containing carefully chosen items meant to boost the morale and resilience of our service members and give them warm reminders of home."

Prince William County Resident

Matt has lived in the DC Metropolitan Area (DMV) for most of his life and currently resides in Prince William County.

In his spare time, he likes to participate in local events, such as the Marine Corps Historic Half in Fredericksburg, VA.

He also is an avid Washington Sports fan. He supported Washington baseball back when they were the "Senators" and now cheers on the Washington Nationals, including their farm team - the Fredericksburg Nationals.

A father of two, he has been involved in various local organizations, such as serving as the President for the Hylton High School Lacrosse Club.
